Carrauntoohil by the Devil’s Ladder (ref: DL 04/7)

Climb Carrauntoohil by The Devils Ladder Route with an experienced Kerry Climbing Guide!

This route is one of the more straightforward ways to ascend and descend Irelands highest mountain and is still graded Difficult. It is a challenging day’s hiking so, a good basic level of fitness is most definitely required.

Experience this truly exciting and rewarding route that provides spectacular views throughout.  Enjoy a thrilling 300m section of grade 1 scrambling via the Devil’s Ladder.

A pleasant and easy descent with sublime mountain vistas down the “Zig-Zag” path with weary legs and a great sense of accomplishment we make our way back along the path out of The Hags Glen. What a truly magnificent day in majestic mountains!
